Region overview

Chuy Region is the economic and cultural heart of Kyrgyzstan, home to the country's capital, Bishkek. Surrounded by the Kyrgyz Ala-Too mountains and vast fertile valleys, the region combines modern city life with rich history and diverse natural attractions. Visitors can explore Ala-Archa National Park, Burana Tower, Kegety Gorge, Chunkurchak Valley, and the stunning alpine landscapes of the Tian Shan mountains. Chuy Region is also known for its agricultural importance, traditional villages, and easy access to some of the most popular hiking, horseback riding, and outdoor adventure destinations in northern Kyrgyzstan.
